Can you hear the sigh of relief?!

You see all this paperwork, it's all DONE. That's D.O.N.E.!
The hardest part of the paperwork was these questionnaires.
There were four of them: Parenting Questionnaire, Marriage Questionnaire, Attitudes about Adoption Questionnaire, and Transracial/Transcultural Questionnaire.

Here are some highlights of the questions we had to answer:
When did you decide you wanted to be a parent?
Define how you see you day-to-day role as a parent.
What adjustments do you see making in your life when you become a parent?
What are you individual and personal goals?
What are the strengths of your marriage?
What areas of your marriage have room for improvement?
What are you expectations of your spouse? How are those expectations met?
What do you see as reasons for and /or against telling a child he/she is adopted? What challenges do you anticipate in discussing your child's adoption story with him/her?
What are you concerns about adoption?
What do you plan to tell your child of his/her heritage?
What do you think your greatest challenge raising a child of a different race/culture than your own?
In addition to answering these above questions, and lots of others, we each had to write a 3-6 page autobiography!
We are so happy to have this paperwork behind us and are scheduling our interviews and house tour with Kim, our social worker.
One more step closer, Mo.... we are coming!
