Calling my couponing friends

When we travel, we will take a suitcase full (HOPEFULLY!) of things needed by Holt for the orphanage. Not all the children are blessed to be in foster care like Bates and some are in the orphanage run by Holt.

We want to collect things over the next few months so we can have a suitcase full to take!

So get out your coupons and help!

Here are the needs:

The number one need right now is for Neutramigen formula by Enfamil for a little boy that can only survive on this formula. He has an intestinal problem and this is all he can eat. It is very hard to find in Korea and is very expensive at over $50 a can. They only have two cans right now!

Comon' girls (and guys) let's get this baby some formula! It can be found at Target and looks like this:

Other needs:
single grain rice cereal - that is not available in Korea- There are a lot of premature babies in care. These babies cannot tolerate the multigrain cereal that is available in Korea.
Baby lotion - lotion is extremely expensive in Korea
diaper cream - like destin
vitamin syrup for premiees
hand sanitizer

sometimes they have older children over 3 or 4. Coloring books, crayons, toys, clothes are very helpful.

We will be collecting things right up until we travel, so just let me know if you can help! I want to collect so much that we have to pay extra for our suitcase!

  1. That Nutramigen is very expenseive and we tried Colin on it for a week or two hoping it would help us out (luckily that wasn't the an$wer!). BUT, If anyone does buy it for you, have them call Enfamil as they have a program where they will send you rebate coupons. I think you usually have to buy 2 cans at the same time and on the same receipt. Mail it in (with the UPC cut off the cans) to get $25 back. I don't know if they will give it to just anyone, but if you have a child that is of formula drinking age you can at least call and give them your kids info to get the rebate coupon.

Target usually carries it for about $25 a can and the rebate should be $25.

    Hope this info helps!

  2. Oh, and I hear that sometimes Pedi's have sample cans. Doesn't hurt to ask.

  4. Let me know when you are heading over there. I want to get some of the items on the list for you, but I know some of the items expire (cereal, etc.) so I don't want to buy it too far in advance. Also let me know how you want me to get it to you. Let me know what you need the most as it gets closer to time and if there is anything else not on the list you need. :) April
