- The USCIS approval goes to the National Visa Center
- We will be logged in and logged out of the National Visa Center, I can call them to see when we are logged in and out. We should be logged in in about a week and then logged out the following day. I will start calling as soon as I get my letter in the mail, cause that means they got their too!
- Meanwhile we wait for Bates' EP (Emmigration Permit) to be issued in Korea. His was applied for at the Embassy on 1.19 and this normally takes 3-6 weeks (we are at week 4)
- Once we are logged in and out of the National Visa Center a Packet 3 (P3) will be sent to the Embassy in Korea. This packet will then be sent to Holt in Korea. This is a packet of information that must be returned to the Embassy. We will know when the P3 is sent, again I'll be calling daily and multiple times daily if needed! Part of the packet must be the EP, so hopefully that will be issued prior to the packet going to Korea.
- When Holt Korea gets the P3 they will schedule a Visa Interview (VI) and Embassy Appearance (EA) for Bates. I can call to see when his VI and EA are! Holt will finish up the paperwork for the P3 and return it to the Embassy and then.......
- TRAVEL CALL!
Once the EP is approved it's simply a matter of weeks!
