Update

So, my friend who was gonna get to meet Bates didn't get to see him. She was MAJORLY bummed and so sweet about it. Turns out there was a slight communication issue and Bates' foster mom came at a different time and they missed each other. It's possible that another lady saw him and took his picture, but I'm waiting to hear back from her.

But, it's all ok cause, I'll get to see him soon cause we are moving right along in the paperwork department!

Our P3 (Packet 3) was sent to Korea today. It's the packet of paperwork that has the US clearances in it and tells Korea what to do and send back. So yeah!

However, nothing else can happen until Bates is issued a EP (Emmigration Permit). His was applied for on 1.19 and we were told 3-6 weeks till approval. But, due to a back up at the end of the year when they ran out of EPs (they only issue a certain number every year) and based on others timelines its looking like ours will be approved in another 4 weeks- end of March. Travel happens about 3 weeks after that (if everything goes smoothly). So based on that estimate we will be traveling mid to late April.

But, the only thing certain in the world of adoption is it's all uncertain...... so who knows really.

I have a feeling the next month will be very hard: just waiting, no progress- so pray for us!
