EP approved

I got an email from Lisa at Holt today and the subject said:

"EP approved!!!!" (and that is how many exclamation points she put!)

This is HUGE! This is what Bates was submitted for back on 1.19. Based on others timelines we thought it would be at least two more weeks before we heard anything. I was sorta growing impatient with the wait, just sorta....

I honestly was so excited to get that email I could feel my heart beating. My hands were shaking when I was calling Nick. Seriously, I'll be a mess when the Travel Call comes!!!

So what the means:
Now we are waiting for

• Travel Certificate to be issued: this typically takes a week
  
• Bates has to go in for a Visa Physical: this is done by an outside doctor and typically only once a month, so hopefully that will be soon and not a month from now
  
• Visa Interview must take place: this is when Bates has his cute little picture taken at the Embassy for his travel documents
• the P3 must be returned to the US: this is a packet of all the above information

I know this looks like serveral more steps, but it happens fast. So we are close, maybe 3 weeks to 6 weeks (depending on his Visa Physical appointment). So pray for quick quick paperwork..... we are going to get our boy, soon!!!!!!
