They see his picture!! (and other fun news)

So yesterday, I called the Visa Hotline in DC and the nice little girl who answered, Sarah, said his p3 wasn't return, but they did SEE HIS PICTURE!

When she said, I see a picture... I immediately interrupted her and said, isn't he the cutest thing you've ever seen?!? She, of course, said yes, and laughed. She said all the Asian babies were her favorites and she liked it when she could see their pictures!

What does this mean??? Bates has made his Embassy Appearance and had his picture made for his Visa. Now the P3 (packet of paperwork) just needs to be returned and his Visa Interview done and we are READY to GO!

His Class B landed on the receptionist's desk at 10:42 am this morning (which was really last night while we were sleeping) so he needs to get his tail to his Interview and have those folks call his mommy to come get him!

Last night, I washed the first (of the millions I will do in my lifetime) load of Bates' clothes to pack.
And we put the car seat in the car! Now, that was an adventure. It didn't help that we didn't read the directions and just thought we could wing it... but dang, car seats have come along way. That Latch system is something!

I loved driving to work this morning and looking in the baby mirror and seeing his car seat! Can't wait to look in that mirror and see his little face!
