First we painted the entire room yellow. Nick did the trim and I did the rolling. It took two coats and two gallons of paint.
The next day, we got to measuring, leveling, and taping.
We peeled the tape off and the stripes were FANTASTIC!
On Sunday afternoon, we borrowed a big miter saw from a friend and hung the chair rail. I hung his name on the wall, moved the furniture in place, and hung his monster pictures.
We still have a few things to do, D'D is making a bed skirt, curtain, and changing pad cover. We have to paint his rocking chair, and hang the chinese lanterns I ordered...
But all in all, we are really ready for baby Bates!
It is so cute! Great job!

ReplyDeleteBates is certainly a lucky baby. What a talented family he has! Especially his daddy and his uncle William! William is quite the artist... The room is absolutely precious!
